First Look Media was founded by Trevor Hodgson, who, over the past 28 years, has executive produced, produced and provided business affairs on more than 102 non-scripted and 13 scripted projects, representing over 621 hours of content. Trevor has a very broad range of experience, providing producing and business affairs services on theatrical feature films, drama and comedy series, documentary features, series, mini-series and one-offs, animation features and series, unscripted series, children’s series and web series. Recently he co-executive produced Big Timber (History Television/Netflix), Pamela’s Garden of Eden for (HGTV/Hulu) Pamela’s Cooking with Love (Food Network), provided business affairs services on Motive (CTV/NBCU), Lego Star Wars Holiday Special (Disney+) , Spidey and His Amazing Friends (Disney Jr.), Lego Marvel Avengers (Disney+), Kim’s Convenience (CBC, Netflix) Strays (CBC), produced the true crime series The Oland Murder (internationally known as The Suspect) (CBC/Netflix), and served as an executive producer on Rust Valley Restorers (History Television/Netflix). Previously he was the Vice President of Business Affairs at eOne/Force Four Entertainment, where he was involved in all financial and legal aspects of the company’s various projects. Prior to joining Force Four, for over thirteen years, Trevor was an executive producer, producer and VP of Business Affairs at eOne/Paperny Entertainment, where he produced top-rated series including Eat St. (Food Network), Yukon Gold (History Television/Nat Geo) Timber Kings (HGTV), Cold Water Cowboys (Discovery), and Chopped Canada (Food Network), as well as the multi award-winning feature documentaries Love Shines (TMN/CTV) and Confessions of an Innocent Man (CTV/NFB), among many others. Early in his career, Trevor was the senior production business analyst for the provincial funding agency, Creative BC. He has also executive produced the multi-award winning feature film My Father’s Angel and co-produced the feature film Touched. He is currently serving as the board chair of the CMPA's BC branch council.
